Wong continued: 'So many people have lost someone whose presence in their lives can never truly be replaced I am asking for help on behalf of our family during one of the most heartbreaking times we have ever faced.

Jackson wrote at the time: 'This job isn’t for the faint of heart. We are a unique breed of people. We’ve been through a lot, and we do a lot in a single day to make a concert happen. The sacrifices we make to do this job are things most people will never truly understand.
'But when you love what you do, it doesn’t feel like a job. There is, however, a certain level of insanity that comes with this life. That insanity is part of what makes us who we are.'
