South African rapper My Sol has broken his silence on rumours that he and Nadia Nakai were romantically involved, after both celebrities were spotted in Paris at the same time.
Speaking in a podcast-style interview filmed against a bright yellow curtain backdrop with "Chillers Punch" branding, My Sol explained that the speculation had no basis in reality. He said both he and Nadia were simply in Paris independently, and the fact that they each took photos at the Eiffel Tower on different days was enough to set tongues wagging.
How the Paris rumours started
My Sol, who is not active on social media, posted a WhatsApp status for his close contacts while he was in Paris. Someone in his WhatsApp circle screenshotted the status and shared it on X (formerly Twitter), placing him and Nadia in the same city at the same time and fuelling romance rumours. He said, visibly frustrated by the breach of privacy:
"I'll be saying something in my own space on WhatsApp, the next thing I see on social media."
He added that because he employs a large number of people, he struggled to identify who had shared the content. As a result, he has decided to cut his WhatsApp status viewers down to just 20 people he trusts, blocking the rest to protect his privacy going forward.
"I was speaking to my daughter that she needs to help me to block a lot of people."

My Sol sets the record straight on Nadia
On the question of whether he and Nadia Nakai were ever romantically involved, My Sol was direct:
"We haven't smashed Nadia. We haven't smashed. No, no, no, no, no."
He also pointed out that the two were not even in the same part of Europe at the same time, noting the distance between Paris and London as evidence that any romantic link was far-fetched.
His interviewer pushed back playfully, suggesting that if something had happened, a smart guy like My Sol would never admit it. My Sol laughed off the suggestion, sticking firmly to his denial and insisting the whole situation came down to a WhatsApp post taken out of context.
MySol opened up about his love life
Mining businessman MySol appeared on Podcast and Chill, where he opened up about his relationship status after a viral video with Babalwa M sparked romance rumours.
MySol also said Kwesta is one of his favourite South African artists and shared plans to support Emtee's FNB Stadium dream.
