Desmond Ojietefian, Damilola Akinola and Qamar Adegoke scored for the Oluyole Warriors to end their losing run and ease the pressure on head coach Salisu Yusuf, while Isah Ndala Aliyu netted the visitors’ only goal.
The hosts took the lead in the 14th minute when Ojietefian found the net, giving Shooting Stars an early advantage as they sought to recover from their recent poor results.
Ranchers Bees drew level in the 38th minute through Ndala Aliyu, but Shooting Stars regained the lead in first-half stoppage time, with Akinola scoring in the 45th+3 minute to make it 2-1 at the break.
Shooting Stars had the chance to extend their advantage shortly after the restart when the referee awarded them a penalty in the 48th minute following a handball by Ibrahim Inuwa inside the box.

However, Ranchers Bees goalkeeper Tofa kept his side in the contest by saving Sodiq Ibrahim’s spot-kick in the 52nd minute.
The hosts eventually secured the victory in the 71st minute through Adegoke, who beat his marker before squeezing the ball into the net from a tight angle to establish a 3-1 lead.
Shooting Stars held on for the remainder of the encounter to claim all three points and end their losing streak.
The victory gives Yusuf’s side an opportunity to rebuild momentum in the league, while Ranchers Bees and their coach, Abdallah, will look to recover from the defeat in their next fixture.
