This time last year I almost presented you with a column stating: “This season, get a belt. That’s it.” I didn’t because — vanguardish early adopter that I am — it felt a smidge too soon given that most fashionistas were still sporting ludicrously oversized garb, not least the tiny-woman-in-vast-coat platitude.
