Donald Trump has been campaigning hard in Republican-majority states ahead of the upcoming midterm elections.
But the President made sure to take time at the Wichita, Kansas, rally yesterday to brag about his mental competence.
After rambling about his math skills – ‘dividing a number by three, doubling it, subtracting 400, adding 293, dividing by seven’ – the President bragged about getting a perfect score on the cognitive test.
‘They have another one where they give you five words. The doctor actually said, “Well, sir, here’s the problem. If you do well, that’s fine. If you do poorly, it’s going to be a big story. And no other president was willing to take it,’ Trump told the crowd.
‘And the first question is so simple. They show you a lion, a bear, a snake and a giraffe. They say, “Which one is the giraffe?”
‘So what the fakers do is they show that and say Oh ho ho – but none of those people could come close to getting a perfect score. But I got it three times. I got a perfect score.’
The President, now 80 years old, has repeatedly bragged about his ‘perfect’ scores on cognitive tests. It’s believed he’s taken around six, a high number considering most doctors test every one to three years.
In May, after his routine medical exam at Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre, Dr Sean Barbabella said Trump is ‘fully fit’ to serve after he underwent a CT scan and other heart imaging, along with cancer screenings and other preventative assessments carried out by 22 specialists.
Trump wrote on Truth Social at the time: ‘Unlike other US Presidents, none of whom have ever taken an approved, high-difficulty cognitive test, I scored a perfect 30 out of 30, considered “extreme intelligence.”
‘In fact, this is my fourth such test, all PERFECT or 120 correct answers out of 120 questions asked! It is very rare that anyone gets a Perfect Score, especially when achieved four times in a row.’
However, reports have suggested the ‘great difficulty’ test may be the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, used to screen for dementia and cognitive impairment.
Meanwhile, Republicans are working to campaign ahead of key midterm elections in key states.
Vice President JD Vance shared some serious accusations about a protester during a rally in North Carolina days ago.
At the rally in Hendersonville, a young man stood up waving the flag of North Carolina and began shouting ‘Release the Epstein files’ and ‘God bless our children’.
He was quickly ushered out, shouting as he was escorted away, while the crowd began to chant ‘USA’.
Vance turned back to the crowd and said: ‘I said that we have had zero illegal border crossings in the United States. Then, referencing the protester, he said: ‘But one isn’t bad, right?’
Vance went on to say the protester showed what ‘far left Democrats’ stand for: ‘fraudsters, criminals and illegal aliens’.
