Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Serbian company Sherpa d.o.o. plans to recruit more than 300 specialists from Uzbekistan for construction and related occupations in 2027. The plan emerged from online talks between Uzbekistan’s Migration Agency head, Muhsinkhuja Abdurakhmonov, and the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Damir Lunich.
According to the agency, Sherpa d.o.o.’s partners include contractors involved in projects related to EXPO 2027.
The sides agreed to identify the most in-demand occupations and working conditions, conduct targeted candidate selection, and arrange professional training. The final selection is planned to take place in Uzbekistan with the participation of representatives of the Serbian company.
Implementation of the project will begin after an official request specifying the vacancies is received and a cooperation agreement is signed.
