Choo Sung Hoon, a former MMA fighter-turned-Korea’s favorite ahjussi TV star, recently took to Instagram and shared tragic news about losing a loved one.
On October 11, KST, Choo made a post, sharing that he had lost a very close acquaintance, someone he deeply loved, after they took their own life. The person was in their forties, and their untimely demise has left Choo overcome with grief.
Choo Sung Hoon announced that he would be taking a break from all social media activity for a while to mourn this loss. Fans have since flooded his social media page with condolence messages and wished him strength, noting that he had also lost his uncle, whom he was very close to, just a month ago.

Meanwhile, Choo Sung Hoon is set to hold his retirement MMA fight at BLACK COMBAT 17 on November 21, at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
