Longtime Jets fans remember Dec. 14, 1980.
That was the day when the 0-14 Saints and quarterback Archie Manning came to a cold and windy Shea Stadium and beat the Jets 21-20 for their only win of the season.
Slightly younger fans may remember Nov. 10, 1991, when Jeff George led the 0-8 Colts to their only win of the season, 28-27 over the Jets at the Meadowlands.
The Jets have a history of tripping up when facing a winless team. It happened twice in 2019 when they became the first team to lose to two teams that were 0-7 or worse, first the 0-7 Dolphins then the 0-11 Bengals.
