KUALA LUMPUR: Chinese actor Wang Yibo is making the most of his time in Malaysia, balancing food trips with preparations for an upcoming race.
The 29-year-old recently arrived in the country to get ready for the 2026 China GT Championship season finale, which takes place at the Sepang International Circuit from Nov 6 to 8.
While in the city, Wang was spotted enjoying the local food scene.
On Wednesday (Oct 14), he dined with his team at a bak kut teh restaurant in Pudu.
Later that evening, he carried on his culinary adventure at Jalan Alor, where he was seen eating durian.
When he is not trying local treats, Wang has been at the Sepang International Circuit to get familiar with the track.
The upcoming event marks his very first overseas competition as a professional racing driver.
Wang first stepped into motorsports at the Michelin GPGP Grand Prix in Beijing in 2019, before switching to GT car racing in 2024.
Before hitting the race track, Wang started his career in show business in 2014 as the main rapper and dancer for the South Korean-Chinese boy band Uniq.
He made his acting debut in the 2016 film MBA Partners and starred in popular dramas including The Untamed (2019), Legend Of Fei (2020), and Hidden Blade (2023).
