A German video game designer killed himself while livestreaming to young fans on Twitch.
Manuel Otto, the creator of the iconic app ‘Stick Run’, was found on Tuesday in the Bavarian village of Breitbrunn am Chiemsee.
Emergency services were called to his property after reports of a fire in his attic.
Twitch has removed the footage from its platforms, adding: ‘What took place is horrible, and the mental health and wellbeing of our community matters deeply to us.
‘We encourage anyone who may be struggling to seek support.’
Manuel’s colleagues have also paid tribute, saying he had ‘appeared to take his own life’ on a livestream.
