The Army Reserve provides a part-time service option, unlike the regular Army’s full-time service arrangements.
Can foreign applicants join the British Army?
The fact that a role does not require educational qualifications does not automatically mean every foreign national is eligible to apply.
Applicants must still satisfy the Army’s nationality, residency, age, medical, fitness and other recruitment requirements applicable to their circumstances. Prospective recruits should check the official British Army recruitment website for the current eligibility rules before applying.
For eligible recruits, the Army says training and service can provide opportunities to earn recognized qualifications, allowing them to develop skills while serving in the military.
