As the country comes closer to the 5th December 2026 presidential election, it is still not clear who will appear as presidential candidates to challenge the Barrow presidency, who the silent majority is likely to support.
Partisan politics appears to be dominant as single parties try to display their political muscles. However analysts continue to predict that single parties are too weak to succeed.
Foroyaa is monitoring the political terrain and most analysts are still waiting for a Coalition arrangement that would attract the support of the non partisan silent majority, who must come to the support of any candidate who is to win an election.
