SK hynix Tops Job Seeker Interest Rankings, Ahead of Hyundai Motor

SK hynix has emerged as the company attracting the most interest from job seekers during the second-half hiring season, according to a survey. Companies in traditional manufacturing powerhouses such as semiconductors and automobiles dominated the top rankings, while job seekers also showed notable interest in a range of other sectors, including public institutions, retail and finance. Incruit, an HR technology company, analyzed data on companies that job seekers had marked as companies of interest over the past year, from September 2025 to September 2026. SK hynix ranked first, with an interest registration rate of 1.60%. The feature allows job seekers to register specific companies and receive their job postings by email, serving as an indicator of job seekers’ employment preferences. Hyundai Motor ranked second, with a rate of 1.48%. Kakao followed in fourth place at 0.81%, while Samsung Electronics ranked fifth at 0.78%. Hyundai Mobis also made the top 10, ranking tenth at 0.67%, further underscoring job seekers’ strong interest in the automotive industry. In retail, CJ Olive Young stood out. The company ranked sixth, with a rate of 0.77%. This was attributed to rising brand recognition and appeal as K-beauty has expanded into global markets in recent years. Among public institutions, Incheon International Airport Corporation ranked third overall, with a rate of 0.87%, making it the highest-ranked public institution. Korea Electric Power Corporation also ranked seventh at 0.74%, placing two public institutions in the top 10. This appears to reflect job seekers’ emphasis on employment stability. Competition was also evident in the financial and content industries. Woori Bank ranked eighth at 0.73%, making it the only financial institution in the top 10. CJ ENM, representing the content and entertainment sector, ranked ninth at 0.71%.
