SPRINGFIELD — Missouri State enters a big week where a win is necessary to keep season-long goals alive. The Bears (2-5, 1-2 in CUSA) host Sam Houston (1-6, 0-3) on Tuesday, Oct. 27.
During his weekly availability, Casey Woods said more injured players will be added to the report before the game against the Bearkats.
“Our list of injuries is going to be deeper this week than it’s ever been,” Woods said. “There’s other guys that are going to be showing, that aren’t starters necessarily. It’s that part of the season.”

In Missouri State’s latest loss to Delaware, starting running back Breezy Dubar and wide receiver Mekhi Miller missed the contest. Defensive end Mekhi Miller was questionable, but played against the Blue Hens.
According to Woods, running back Ramone Green Jr. and offensive lineman Logan Scrivner will miss ‘some time.’
Woods was asked to clarify how long ‘some time’ is for the players he listed.
“I don’t know yet,” he said. “What does that look like next Tuesday? What does that look like going forward in the season? I’m not sure we have all of the answers to that. If they’re out for the season, we’ll let you know.”
When asked if these injuries are coming from practice or games, Woods shared that most of the injuries are ‘built up from the games.’
The Bears and Bearkats will face each other at 7 p.m. on Tuesday inside Plaster Stadium.
