Guwahati: Zubeen Garg Fan Club to Hold Peaceful Justice Protest at Chachal on October 30

New Update

A peaceful protest demanding justice for Assam's beloved singer Zubeen Garg will be held at Chachal in Guwahati on October 30, 2026, following an initiative by the Zubeen Garg Fan Club. The programme is scheduled to take place from 10 am to 2 pm, with fans and well-wishers invited to join the demonstration.

Zubeen Garg's wife, Garima Saikia Garg, shared the announcement on Facebook, calling for people who love the singer to unite and raise their voices peacefully for justice.

According to the announcement, the organisers have already applied for the necessary administrative permission to hold the protest. The programme will be held at Chachal, Six Mile, Guwahati.

The fan club said the decision to organise another demonstration followed the response to a protest held on October 12. Although many people had expressed their willingness to participate in that programme, several could not attend because it had been organised at short notice.

The organisers have therefore called for greater participation in the October 30 demonstration, urging Zubeen Garg's fans and supporters to come together to demand justice for the singer.

The appeal stressed that the programme should remain peaceful, with participants raising their voices collectively for justice.

The upcoming demonstration is being organised under the banner of the All Assam Zubeen Garg Fan Club. The organisers have invited fans, supporters and members of the public who wish to join the demand for justice.

The protest is scheduled for October 30, from 10 am to 2 pm, at Chachal in the Six Mile area of Guwahati. The organisers have expressed hope that people from different parts of Assam will participate in the programme.
