Germany's Jan-Lennard Struff claimed a surprise win over France's Arthur Fils to book a spot in the European Open final in Brussels.
Struff prevailed 6-4, 6-7 (7-9), 7-6 (7-5) and will face Dutch Tallon Griekspoor in Sunday's final.
The German, who reached the Wimbledon quarter-finals in July, is now into his first ATP Tour final since his title run on home soil in Munich in 2024.
"I want to thank the crowd for the support. It was an unreal match," Struff said following his victory.
"I felt I played a very, very good first set, he won the second set which was very close. I managed to come back from a break down twice in the third set. I am just very happy to get the win."
