Pixel 11 Pro Discounts Reach $1,150: How AT&T, Verizon, and Google Fi Deals Compare

A $1,100 smartphone discount sounds like an easy decision. But getting that much off Google’s Pixel 11 Pro could mean staying with the same wireless carrier for two or three years.

As of Oct. 19, AT&T is advertising up to $1,150 in credits on the Google Pixel 11 Pro with an eligible trade-in and wireless plan. Verizon announced a separate promotion on Aug. 12 offering up to $1,100 off eligible Pixel 11 series devices, although the availability of that exact offer as of Oct. 19 has not been independently confirmed.

Google Fi Wireless is also advertising a promotion combining an instant discount, monthly credits, and additional service credits for eligible new customers.

For buyers, the question isn’t simply how much a carrier promises to take off the price. It’s how much they’ll spend on wireless service to receive the full discount, and what happens if they switch providers early.

How AT&T, Verizon, and Google Fi’s Pixel 11 Pro offers compare

According to AT&T’s Pixel 11 Pro product page, the carrier is offering up to $1,150 in promotional credits over 36 months with an eligible trade-in and qualifying wireless plan.

AT&T lists the 256GB Pixel 11 Pro at $1,149.99. Customers who qualify for the maximum credits could effectively pay $0 per month for the device, although taxes and other applicable charges still apply.

AT&T’s advertised trade-in offer specifies a minimum $95 trade-in value, although the carrier also promotes a separate offer for eligible older Pixel phones regardless of year or condition. Customers should review the terms of the specific promotion they select, as the actual credits depend on the eligible trade-in device and wireless plan.

Verizon announced its own Pixel 11 trade-in promotion on Aug. 12, offering up to $1,100 off eligible Pixel 11 series devices with a qualifying trade-in, new line, and wireless plan.

Verizon’s offer required a 36-month installment agreement, a qualifying new line, and a trade-in phone that had been active on the customer’s Verizon account for at least 60 days before purchase. Adding a new line alone did not guarantee the maximum discount, potentially excluding customers switching from another carrier without an eligible Verizon device.

Existing Verizon customers were also offered a separate upgrade promotion worth up to $900, subject to trade-in and plan requirements.

Verizon’s August announcement included another option that did not require a trade-in. Eligible customers switching to its Simplicity plan could get the 256GB Pixel 11 Pro and one wireless line for a combined $45 per month over 48 months, comprising a $15 monthly device payment and a $30 plan rate.

That offer included $380 in device promotional credits. Qualifying for the $30 service rate required a new smartphone line, number transfer from another carrier, Auto Pay, and paper-free billing. Taxes, fees, and other conditions applied.

The availability of these August promotions as of Oct. 19 has not been independently confirmed. Buyers should check Verizon’s current deals before assuming they still qualify.

Google Fi presents a third option. Under its published promotion terms, eligible new customers can receive $300 off a Pixel 11 Pro immediately, plus $799 through 24 monthly credits.

Customers financing the phone receive monthly promotional credits that can offset device payments and eligible service charges. Customers who pay upfront receive the $799 rebate as monthly bill credits over 24 months. Unused credits do not carry forward.

Google Fi also offers a separate $10 monthly service credit for 24 months on its Unlimited Premium plan, worth up to $240. Together, these incentives represent up to $1,339 in combined promotional value, comprising $1,099 in device-related discounts and credits plus $240 in service credits. The full amount is not a direct reduction in the phone’s purchase price.

Customers must activate the phone on an eligible Unlimited Premium plan within 30 days of shipment.

To keep the $300 instant discount, customers must maintain qualifying Fi service in good standing and keep the Pixel 11 Pro active for 120 consecutive days. Pausing, changing, or suspending the account during that period can invalidate the discount and result in a $300 charge.

After 120 days, customers may switch to another device without losing their remaining promotional credits, provided the original device activator maintains qualifying Fi service. The credits cannot be transferred to another person.

The $799 device-related rebate and $240 service rebate require maintaining eligible service for 24 months. Canceling service or switching to an ineligible plan before that period ends results in the loss of remaining monthly credits.

The Google Fi promotion is advertised through November 10, 2026, or while supplies last.

While AT&T and Google Fi are advertising the offers described here, Verizon’s figures reflect its August promotions, which may no longer be available.

Here’s how the main offers compare:

Verizon’s separate Simplicity offer is not included in the table because it used a different 48-month payment structure and did not require a trade-in.

All figures represent maximum promotional values rather than guaranteed savings. Eligibility, service costs, and promotional restrictions can affect the final amount.

Why a free Pixel 11 Pro might cost more than expected

The biggest catch is how these discounts are delivered.

Rather than immediately deducting the full amount from the phone’s price, carriers typically spread most of the savings across monthly bill credits.

A $1,100 discount spread over 36 months works out to approximately $30.56 per month. That can be attractive for someone already using the carrier, but the calculation changes when qualifying requires a more expensive wireless plan. For example, switching to a plan costing $20 more per month adds $720 over three years, offsetting much of the advertised device savings.

Customers should also consider what happens if they leave early.

According to Verizon’s device promotion FAQs, canceling service, paying off a device early, or switching to an ineligible plan can cause future promotional credits to stop.

Google Fi has similar restrictions. Customers who cancel qualifying service before the 24-month period ends lose their remaining credits. Failing to meet the initial 120-day device and service requirements can also result in the $300 instant discount being charged back.

TechRepublic previously compared the Pixel 11 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro, examining what buyers receive for their money. Carrier financing introduces another consideration: the combined cost of the phone and wireless service.

For businesses purchasing multiple smartphones, even small monthly plan differences can become significant across an entire fleet.

What buyers should check before accepting a Pixel 11 Pro deal

Before accepting a promotion, buyers should examine four factors:

• Trade-in eligibility: Confirm that the phone’s model, condition, and assessed value meet the criteria for the advertised credit.
• Wireless plan costs: Compare the required plan with existing service, including taxes, fees, and additional line charges.
• Early cancellation terms: Determine the remaining device balance and promotional credits that could be lost by switching carriers.
• Promotion length: AT&T’s and Verizon’s cited trade-in offers use 36-month credit periods, Google Fi’s promotion uses 24 months, and Verizon’s August Simplicity offer involved a 48-month arrangement.

Upfront costs also matter. AT&T states that taxes on the Pixel 11 Pro’s full retail price are due at sale, even when promotional credits cover the device’s installment payments.

Buyers who regularly switch carriers may prefer an unlocked phone.

Google’s official store is advertising up to $650 in trade-in savings on eligible Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL purchases through October 29, 2026.

Unlike multi-year carrier bill credits, Google’s direct trade-in offer can provide an instant credit at checkout for select customers or a refund after the old phone is assessed. The final amount depends on the device and its condition, but buyers do not need to maintain a qualifying wireless plan for two or three years to receive that trade-in value.

Google’s published promotional terms list trade-in examples that exceed the advertised $650 maximum. Because the final amount depends on the device and its condition, buyers should confirm their individual quote at checkout and understand that the credit may change after inspection.

The promotion applies when selecting the Unlocked or Verizon device option through the Google Store, rather than Google Fi or another carrier variant.

Is a Pixel 11 Pro carrier discount worth it?

For AT&T customers who qualify for maximum credits, the promotion could substantially reduce the cost of upgrading. Verizon customers should confirm which current offers apply to their accounts, particularly because the original $1,100 promotion targeted eligible new-line purchases.

Google Fi offers another option for new customers willing to maintain Unlimited Premium service for two years. However, its $1,339 combined promotional value includes service credits and should not be mistaken for a $1,339 phone discount.

The best choice depends on the total cost of the phone and wireless service over the promotional period, not simply the largest advertised discount.

For IT departments managing company smartphones, that calculation is especially important. Discounted devices may reduce initial purchasing expenses while creating longer-term service commitments that complicate upgrades, employee departures, or carrier changes.

Before committing to a multi-year service or device payment arrangement, buyers should make sure the savings add up.
