The Green Bay Packers banked on Brandon Cisse making a huge impact this season, and just a few games into his NFL career, the cornerback has his first interception.
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott got picked off twice in the first half on Sunday Night Football in a game that sees the Packers leading 17-0, at the time of writing.
Cisse, 21, was selected No. 52 overall in the 2026 draft. He began his collegiate career at North Carolina State before transferring to South Carolina, where he had a productive 2025 campaign.
Jordan Love nearly gave up a pick-six, but it was ruled the Cowboys defender had been touched down by Matthew Golden.
Prescott had a chance to get his team on the board, only for Evan Williams to come up with a big-time interception.
A few minutes later, Prescott was targeting CeeDee Lamb, only for him to slip on his route, allowing Cisse to record his first career interception.
This game had three interceptions on four drives
Linebacker Dee Winters recorded the first interception of the game, only for Williams to come up with one of his own just over two minutes later.
After a lengthy drive for the Packers, Cisse made the most of Lamb's slip-up by intercepting Prescott.
It marked Prescott's second interception of the game, both of which came with the Cowboys inside the 30-yard line.
For Cisse, it was his first interception since Sept. 27, 2025, against the Kentucky Wildcats.
Cisse had two career interceptions in college, with the only other coming on Nov. 4, 2023, against the Miami Hurricanes.
At the time of writing, it's currently halftime at Lambeau Field. Cisse has two total tackles, both of which were solo, and he also has a pair of pass deflections.
Green Bay's defense has been completely revamped under new defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon. To see his 11 players consistently flying all over the field and wreaking havoc on this Cowboys defense is a thing of beauty, and this has been a nearly flawless game to follow up on the dominating win over the Chicago Bears.
Prescott has struggled against the Packers in his career, and that has carried into this Week 6 matchup. While there's still plenty of time for the Cowboys to mount a comeback, it's been a defensive masterclass so far, with Cisse leaving his mark on this one.
Coming into this game, Cisse had 21 total tackles, two pass deflections, and 1.5 sacks.
