Korea Expands Fire Safety Push to All Households

Interior and Safety Minister Yoon Ho-jung and Nonghyup Chairman Kang Ho-dong demonstrate an aerosol-type fire extinguisher after signing an agreement on a nationwide fire safety project at the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation's headquarters in Seoul's Seodaemun district on the 13th. Under the agreement, the distribution of smoke detectors will be expanded from households vulnerable to fire to all households, and the devices will be available for purchase at Hanaro Mart outlets across the country.
