GS Neotek said on the 22nd that it has expanded its integrated cloud security platform, Security Lens, to support Naver Cloud Platform.
With the update, the platform now covers Naver Cloud Platform in addition to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure. Companies and institutions that use multiple domestic and overseas cloud services can now manage fragmented security operations from a single platform.
GS Neotek said Security Lens is built to handle comprehensive threat analysis and response. The platform checks for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations in cloud environments, and it combines log data with information gathered from security information and event management (SIEM) systems to analyze threats comprehensively and support artificial intelligence-driven automated response.
The company has also extended its security management beyond the cloud to on-premises environments. By linking security functions that had been run separately, such as server access control and PC security checks, companies can consolidate scattered security data and maximize operational efficiency.
GS Neotek plans to use the Naver Cloud Platform support to accelerate its push into the public sector. The company will expand business opportunities targeting state-run institutions and critical national infrastructure, and will continue to upgrade integrated security features spanning cloud and on-premises environments.
"As cloud environments grow more varied, it is becoming more important to manage security information scattered across multiple systems in an integrated way and to respond to threats," said Seo Jung-in, head of GS Neotek's IT business division. "Through this support for Naver Cloud Platform, we will improve security management efficiency for Korean companies and public institutions and expand the reach of our AI-based integrated security platform."
