The new Anker Laptop Charger Pro is said to extend battery lifespan by up to 40%. It features a single USB-C port, up to 100W output, and a smart display with device detection and a special care charging mode.
The new Anker Laptop Charger Pro finally has a release date. The accessory was unveiled at IFA 2026 and was originally scheduled to go on sale globally on September 17, alongside the new 10-in-1 Desktop USB-C Hub (curr: $99.99 at Amazon). After missing that initial launch date, Anker now says the 100W charger will go on sale on October 22.
The Laptop Charger Pro offers the same 100W output and smart display as the earlier Anker Charger (100W, 3 Ports, Smart Display) (curr: $69.99 at Amazon) but has just one USB-C port. Like the older model, it can show charging info such as real-time output and temperature, but now it also allows users to upload pictures to use as custom wallpapers.
The main upgrade is in battery health features. According to Anker, the Laptop Charger Pro can help extend the connected laptop’s battery lifespan by up to 40%. It does this through a combination of laptop detection for tailored charging, a special Care Mode, and an 80-100% charging limit on MacBooks. Users can also switch to an auto-charging mode for quicker top-ups.
The Anker Laptop Charger Pro goes on sale on October 22 at 12:00 am PDT. Users can sign up for early access on the Anker website to unlock gifts such as an organizer bag. Surprisingly, Anker has already released a Valorant Edition of the charger, available on Amazon for $59.99. The standard version was originally announced at €59.99 in the EU, but Anker has yet to confirm pricing for the US.
