There were simply not many positives for the Alabama Crimson Tide to take away from Saturday's 26-10 loss to the Tennessee Volunteers.
A game Alabama never led, the Crimson Tide struggled significantly on the offensive side of the ball where they had only 201 total yards for the game. Alabama also committed four offensive turnovers, and were held to only 2-of-13 on third downs, as well as 1-of-3 on fourth.
The Crimson Tide defense also played well at times early on, but struggled late to get a stop when needed down the stretch in the fourth quarter.
As a result, the Crimson Tide's record now sits at 5-2 overall (3-2 SEC), suffering a costly second loss. The defeat likely puts Alabama firmly on the College Football Playoff bubble picture, putting the Tide in a position where they cannot afford to suffer a potential third loss going forward.
Here is a look at how social media reacted Saturday night to the Crimson Tide's rough loss at Tennessee.

Everyone is talking about Alabama’s offense and calling for Grubb to be fired. I’m just as concerned about our defense, especially the secondary and coverage. As a former Alabama secondary player, I naturally look at the game through that lens. We have issues on both sides of the…

Here’s my biggest problem w/the loss… what do we think Tennessee wanted to do in this game (and realistically felt like they’d be able to do) that they weren’t able to do?

-Run the ball
-Quick, easy throws for QB
-Put UA in unfavorable down & distances
-Get after Russell…
Alabama's 6 lowest yardage games since 2015 have all come under Kalen DeBoer, including 4 with Ryan Grubb at OC:

With Ryan Coleman-Williams down, Alabama has a massive problem at WR. No one could create separation at all today.

Tennessee's win over an Alabama team that was Kalen DeBoer's most physical team yet was impressive enough, but the way the Vols beat up on the Crimson Tide was the most impressive part. Nothing fluky about this win. Vols bloodied their noses. Score could have been worse.

I don’t know who or what needs to change but that wasn’t the brand of ball that we’ve all grown accustomed to seeing coming out of Tuscaloosa. I can take losing to UGA in a hard fought game. But this today wasn’t Alabama football. And I know week to week it’s hard but we still…

Through 40 minutes of game time this is about as bad as I’ve ever seen Bama play offensively

Tennessee's defense is simply not allowing Alabama's offense to do a single freaking thing. An amazing performance by the Vols.
