The Giants announced a series of roster moves on Tuesday afternoon.
Those moves included the official releases of running back Najee Harris and linebacker Jihad Ward. Both moves were reported earlier in the day.
Linebacker Trace Ford will fill one of the openings on the team's 53-man roster. Ford was signed off of the practice squad, but the Giants left the other spot open for a future move.
Ford played at Oklahoma State and Oklahoma before signing with the Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2025. He has played in three games this season as a temporary elevation and has seven tackles.
