A body reported missing from the mortuary at Nicosia General Hospital has been found in a fridge at the facility, according to local media.
OmegaLive reported that the body had been registered under a different name. An investigation confirmed it was the one that had triggered the alert to the authorities.
It is that of a British man who died in Paphos about a month ago. Because the death was unnatural, the body was taken to Nicosia for a post-mortem examination, as the mortuary at Paphos Hospital is out of action.
