Canada can share lessons from training Ukrainian forces to help South Korea learn how to defeat the new “ways of war” that North Korea is mastering through Russia’s war, Canada’s top military commander told NK News.
Gen. Jennie Carignan, Canada’s chief of the defense staff, said in an exclusive interview in Seoul that North Korea’s growing combat experience is a concern for Canada and its allies. She pointed to drones and automated systems as a natural area for cooperation, and said both militaries must stay agile because the next war will not look exactly like the one in Ukraine.
