PETALING JAYA: Two teenage boys pleaded guilty in the Pekan magistrates' court today to raping a 14-year-old girl with disabilities on Oct 6.
The duo, both 16, entered their pleas after the charges were read to them before magistrate Woon Sze Mun.
They were accused of committing the offence between 9pm and 10pm at a hut by a fish pond near Kampung Siong in Kuala Pahang.
According to the facts of the case, the victim had met one of the accused on TikTok the day before the incident and went out with him.
She was then taken to meet the other accused and invited into the hut before they raped her.
The teenagers were charged under Section 376(1) of the Penal Code, which carries a jail term of up to 20 years and whipping upon conviction.
Deputy public prosecutor Siti Sarah Aqilah Lokman represented the prosecution, while Noor Shuhada Arifin, a lawyer from the National Legal Aid Foundation, acted for the accused.
The magistrate allowed bail at RM8,000 for each accused, but only one of them managed to raise bail.
The court fixed Nov 30 for the submission of reports.
