Davina McCall has revealed she has cardiovascular disease as she gave a new health update in Sunday's episode of her Begin Again podcast.
The former Big Brother presenter, 59, was diagnosed with a rare brain tumour in 2024, followed by breast cancer in October 2025. She received the all-clear in April.
However now, on a British Heart Foundation special episode of her podcast, Davina was joined by heart attack survivor Louise McGill to hear her story after she had a heart attack, despite being considered low risk after a recent health check.
Introducing Louise, Davina revealed: 'I just also wanted to let you know that I also have cardiovascular disease and this is a very important conversation to have and thank you for taking time out to talk to us today.
As Louise revealed that in a health check up prior to her attack they found out her cholesterol was slightly high, Davina revealed she had experienced similar results.
'I think that's really interesting,' said Davina, 'because that's exactly what happened to me.

'I had high cholesterol and I'd had it for quite a long time and it was deemed because I had high good cholesterol that that offset the bad or something.
'But actually, is it true that high cholesterol is quite a good warning sign actually that we should look out for?'
Louise then recommended that women should get their cholesterol checked, especially in menopause.
'Cholesterol is a fatty substance found in your blood. Too much of it can cause serious health problems,' states the NHS.
Davina also reflected on her cancer battle later in the episode as she added: 'Anyone can get sick and when I had my cancer experience, you just suddenly feel vulnerable in a way you weren’t before.
'Once you’ve been ill, you think "Oh, I thought I was invincible".'
Davina previously opened up about her high cholesterol back in 2021, as she explained she was first made aware of her high cholesterol 20 years ago when she first got pregnant and still regularly has checks to 'keep an eye' on it.
Discussing why it's important to keep an eye on your cholesterol, Davina told Female First: 'High cholesterol strikes fear into everybody’s heart- it’s a hidden danger, you can’t really see it, you don’t know it’s there, you don’t know you’ve got it but it is something that you can manage.'
She went on: 'There are ways you can manage it, but so few people get it checked. I would never have known that I had high cholesterol but I wanted to get pregnant, and I was a very anxious first time mother. I wanted to do everything right so I went to get my bloods checked.'
The presenter went on to say that she's managed to keep her cholesterol in control thanks to her healthy diet and simple food swaps with the help of Benecol products, which specifically help to lower cholesterol.

WHAT IS CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE?
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a general term for conditions affecting the heart or blood vessels.
It's usually associated with a build-up of fatty deposits inside the arteries, known as atherosclerosis.
It can also be associated with damage to arteries in organs such as the brain, heart, kidneys and eyes.
CVD is one of the main causes of death and disability in the UK, and the cause of 31 per cent of deaths globally, statistics show.
There are many different types of CVD, but the four main types are coronary heart disease, stroke, peripheral arterial disease and aortic diseases.
Four out of five CVD deaths are due to heart attacks and strokes, according to WHO.
More than 75 per cent of CVD deaths occur in low-income and middle-income countries.
The exact cause of CVD isn't clear, but there are many risk factors. The main ones are high blood pressure, high cholesterol, smoking, too much alcohol, diabetes, inactivity and obesity.
The more risk factors you have, the more likely you are to get CVD. The risk also increases with age - it is the most common in those over 50 - if you are a man, or if you are from a south Asian, African or Caribbean background.
It's recommended to have a balanced diet, with the addition of regular exercise, to ensure a healthy heart, including enough fruit and vegetables and low levels of salt, sugar and fat.
Davina previously revealed she was stepping back from full-time work after a frightening breast cancer diagnosis served as a stark wake-up call.
Speaking candidly on the Miss Me? podcast in January, the Masked Singer judge admitted the double health blow had forced her to confront a lifetime of running from change and overworking.
'Change is something that all my life, I spent running away from,' she confessed. 'I absolutely hated it. Change was something that really frightened me. I always loved the status quo, knowing what I was doing and feeling safe in that.'
For over three decades, Davina has maintained a punishing schedule, fronting everything from Big Brother and Long Lost Family to The Masked Singer and My Mum, Your Dad.
But the mother-of-three revealed her perspective has shifted dramatically following her recent health battles, acknowledging that her most significant personal growth has emerged from difficult periods.
'What has happened, actually, is that I have realised that all my really big growth has come from change - and often quite painful change,' she said.
Davina explained while her brain tumour had initially prompted reflection about reducing stress, it was the subsequent breast cancer diagnosis that truly forced her hand.
'I had an amazing breakthrough when I got clean in the early nineties,' she said, referring to her heroin and alcohol addiction in her twenties.
'I had another huge breakthrough after I had my brain tumour removed. I realised that I needed to de-stress my life.
'Interestingly, I realised that - but then the breast cancer, which I thought was a very, very frightening thing, made me realise that I really, really had to put that into place. And I have now.'
She continued: 'I'm going to work a four-day week. I feel so much better now about my life and trying to get it more balanced.
'So now, really, as I hit this stage of my life, I want to take more care of myself. That is my latest project: me, because I can't take care of anyone else if I'm not okay.'
