Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited has launched "Berger Woodkeeper Pro", a ready-to-apply wood coating designed to offer consumers and professional painters a durable, affordable and convenient finishing solution.
The product was unveiled at Lakeshore Hotel in Gulshan-2, Dhaka, on 15 October, according to the press release.
National cricket team player Mushfiqur Rahim, the product's brand endorser, attended as a special guest.
Berger officials present included Md Mohsin Habib Chowdhury, CEO and managing director; Salahuddin Ahmed, chief marketing officer; Abul Kasem Mohammad Sadeque Nawaj, chief business officer; Md Rashedul Hasan, head of brands; and Saadman Hussain, category manager.
Speaking at the event, Mohsin Habib Chowdhury said, "We believe Berger Woodkeeper Pro has strong potential in Bangladesh's growing wood coating market. With this launch, we look forward to expanding our presence in the category and bringing greater value to our customers. We remain committed to making quality wood coating solutions more accessible in the years ahead."
Salahuddin Ahmed said, "With Berger Woodkeeper Pro, we want to make quality wood coating a simpler and more convenient experience for consumers and painters. The product combines reliable performance with easy application at a reasonable price. We believe it will be a valuable addition to the market and meet the evolving needs of our customers."
Berger said the local wood coating market often relied on low-quality gala and shellac polishes that could produce inconsistent results and lack durability.
The company said Woodkeeper Pro was designed to address these concerns by providing a dependable coating at an affordable price.
Its ready-to-apply formula requires no additional thinner or stain mixing, simplifying application for consumers and professional painters.
Berger said the launch expanded its product portfolio and reflected its commitment to developing reliable, easy-to-use wood coating solutions for household and professional needs.
