Pass The AUX, the curated DJ listening party presented by Next Communications Limited in partnership with Guinness Smooth, returns tomorrow, Friday 16th October 2026, for its third edition at Somewhere Else in Naguru. Edition 3 brings together seven DJs, Melvyn Deejay, DJ Trizzy Vybz, Big E, DJ Jarla Vibes, Bertha, Lucas Blacc and Joshua Caleb, each taking the aux to deliver a set that reflects their own sound and story.
At the heart of the night is Guinness Smooth's "Make It Yours" campaign, a celebration of individuality and the freedom to enjoy life on your own terms. Pass The AUX brings that idea to life through music. Every DJ who takes the aux makes the moment their own, every guest is free to show up as themselves, and every glass of Guinness Smooth, the official and exclusive drink of the evening, is a reminder that the best experiences are the ones you shape yourself. It is a night with no fixed script, only the music, the people and the room they create together.
That spirit of self-expression extends beyond the decks. Edition 3 welcomes Lady Nyina, one of Kampala's most distinctive body art creatives, as the featured artist of the night. Lady Nyina will paint guests live throughout the evening, turning skin into canvas and the audience into part of the art. Each piece is designed to be personal and one of a kind, giving guests a way to literally wear the "Make It Yours" message. Lady Nyina will also be joined by members of her creative community, adding fresh energy and colour to the crowd.
Pass The AUX has always been about giving fresh voices the space to shine," said Maclean Atuhaire of Next Communications. "With Guinness Smooth's 'Make It Yours' campaign, we wanted guests to feel that freedom in every part of the night. Seven DJs with very different energies, Lady Nyina turning people into living artwork, and a crowd that gets to make the experience their own. It's going to be a night people feel as much as they hear."
The event kicks off at 5:00 PM on Friday, 16th October 2026 at Somewhere Else, Naguru, Kampala. Entry is strictly for guests aged 18 and above. Please enjoy responsibly.
