The NBA season starts with a couple of can’t-miss games, including the San Antonio Spurs vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder. But the marquee matchup is the new-look Philadelphia 76ers vs. the reigning champions, the New York Knicks. The game will see the King of New York, Jalen Brunson, face off against King James, who dons the Sixers jersey for the first time in the regular season.
At a Glance: Where to Watch Knicks vs. Sixers
The Knicks are largely sticking with the same team that led them to their first championship since 1973, while the Sixers made some major win-now off-season moves, including signing LeBron James and Jaylen Brown.
The opening game will also mark banner-raising night for the Knicks; the ceremony is expected to take place at 6:30 p.m. ET ahead of the 7 p.m. tip-off at Madison Square Garden.
