Abeckaser said: “I loved being back in Budapest to make The Hit on Hitler. Growing up my two favorite subjects in movies were WWII and gangster films. So when I found out about this true story. I had to make it. Plus I loved working with Dylan Douglas. He was such a professional and I can’t wait for the world to see the amazing performance he gave. I think he has a bright future ahead of him.”
“We are excited to bring this film to buyers at AFM. Dylan is a thrill to watch, along with the rest of the cast, and the concept of mobsters taking on Nazis had us hooked immediately. It’s like Goodfellas meets Inglourious Basterds,” said Ariel Bleiberg, Head of Acquisitions and Development at Bleiberg.
