“This year’s meeting will feature special guest speaker Kim Wilson who will deliver a message to the public as part of the afternoon’s programme.
“The Public General Meeting provides an important opportunity for the community to learn more about Age Concern Bermuda, the work being carried out to support older adults, and the organisation’s continued commitment to enhancing their quality of life across the Island.
“The programme will include remarks from Age Concern Bermuda’s Chairperson, Tanya Bule, and Executive Director, Mercedes Pringle-DeSilva, followed by the special guest address from The Hon. Kim Wilson. Attendees will also receive an overview of the organisation’s achievements and programme progress over the past year, along with a financial report and acknowledgements of those who have contributed to the organisation’s work.
“Through its education, advocacy, information and referral services, hardship assistance, membership benefits, and long-term care initiatives, Age Concern Bermuda continues to provide essential resources and support to older adults and their families.
“The organisation encourages members of the public of all ages to attend, including those who may be unfamiliar with Age Concern Bermuda and wish to gain a better understanding of its programmes, services, and opportunities for community involvement.
“As Bermuda’s population continues to age, greater awareness and community engagement remain vital to ensuring older adults are supported, informed, and empowered. The Public General Meeting offers an opportunity to strengthen these connections and highlight the collective role the community can play in supporting Bermuda’s older population.
“The meeting will also be accessible virtually via Zoom, allowing individuals across the Island to participate. Advance Registration Required. Members of the public are encouraged to secure their attendance by visiting ageconcern.bm/events, where further meeting information and the registration links are available.
“Age Concern Bermuda looks forward to welcoming the community for an informative afternoon of reflection, engagement, and discussion about the organisation’s ongoing work and its vision for supporting older adults in Bermuda.”
