Francisco Conceicao attracted serious interest from Liverpool during the last transfer window, as the Reds wanted to sign him as a replacement for Mohamed Salah. The English club were keen to replace the Egyptian and identified the Juventus winger as one of their preferred options.
Liverpool made an approach for Conceicao and offered 50 million euros to secure his signature. They were keen to sign several new wingers during the transfer window, and Conceicao emerged as a strong candidate, prompting them to step up their interest in bringing him to England.
Liverpool pursued a move for Conceicao
Juventus were reluctant to sell the attacker, but they informed him that he had received an offer from England. This gave Conceicao the opportunity to consider a move to Liverpool, although the Bianconeri would have preferred to keep him in their squad.
Despite the interest and the reported offer, Conceicao decided against leaving Juventus. His decision meant Liverpool had to end their pursuit, while the winger remained at the club where he hopes to continue developing and making an impact.

Conceicao remains committed to Juventus
As reported by Tuttomercatoweb, Conceicao did not believe the move was the right thing to do and remains very committed to succeeding at Juventus. He therefore brought talks with Liverpool to an end almost as soon as they began, choosing to stay in Turin rather than pursue the opportunity in England.
So far, Conceicao has struggled to deliver the performances expected of him, and Juventus might now wonder whether they should have accepted Liverpool’s offer. The reported 50 million euros could have provided funds for a move for another top winger, potentially giving the club a different option in attack.
However, the season has only just started, and Conceicao has continued to feature regularly for Juventus. There is still time for him to improve and demonstrate why the club were reluctant to let him go. If he can become more effective as the campaign progresses, he could justify the decision to turn down Liverpool and remain in Turin.
