Mitchell Robinson's NSFW Response to Knicks Fan Draws Attention

Mitchell Robinson has wasted little time embracing his new life in Boston. The former New York Knicks center is already making headlines after sharing an explicit response.

He may wear Celtics green, but his mouth still has a New York zip code.

His NSFW reaction to a fan says it all. Robinson recalled:

“A fan came up to me and said we lost tonight, he must still think I’m on the Knicks, you dumb [expletive].”

The fan wasn’t wrong about the loss, just the jersey. Boston beat the defending champion Knicks 107-103 at TD Garden on Friday, with Robinson in the middle of it: four points, four rebounds, two assists, a block and five fouls.

Jayson Tatum dropped 36. Miles McBride answered with 20 on 6 of 8 from three, while Karl-Anthony Towns and OG Anunoby kept New York close. But 18 turnovers sank the Knicks, who are now 0-2.

Then there’s the clip of Robinson guarding his own Celtics teammates, a pure funny moment where his subconscious clearly still thinks he’s a Knick.

That’s eight years of muscle memory, and it doesn’t wash out in one offseason.

The Knicks will look to bounce back when they host the Orlando Magic on Sunday, Oct. 25. New York showed fight but could not complete the comeback against its Eastern Conference rival.

The Knicks must improve their execution in crunch time and limit defensive lapses. Jalen Brunson will need to set the tone offensively, while Karl-Anthony Towns must make his presence felt inside and on the glass.

New York should also focus on containing Orlando's athletic wings and avoiding unnecessary turnovers.
