The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) will interrupt power supply to several communities in the Accra West Region for three consecutive days from Monday, October 12, to Friday, October 16, to undertake maintenance works.
The scheduled outages will run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day, according to notices issued by the company on Sunday, October 11.
ECG said the exercise is aimed at improving service delivery and apologised to customers in the affected communities for the inconvenience.
On Monday, October 12, the interruption will affect Mile 7 Estates, Caledonia Hotel, Great Gardens, Fountain Gate Church, ECO Block, Franco Estate, Pokuase BSP and Koans Estate, as well as nearby areas.
On Tuesday, October 13, residents and businesses around Ameriya Last Stop and surrounding communities should expect a power outage during the scheduled maintenance period.
The Wednesday, October 14, exercise will affect Tabora Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6, Bankyease, Race Course, Alhaji, Kwashiebu, Gbawe Bulemin, Gonse, Joma, Agbozome and CP, alongside adjoining areas.
Thursday's October 15 power outage will affect Mallam Junction, Weija Gbawe Municipal hospital, South McCarthy, Sampa Valley, Kokrobite, Oshiyie, Old Bortianor, Old Aplaku, Abease, Achiama, Obeyeyie, Ayikai Doblo and surrounding areas.
On Friday, October 16, affected areas include; Kotoku, Papase, Chinto, Doblo, Medie, and surrounding areas.
The company has urged customers in the affected areas to take note of the schedule and make the necessary arrangements ahead of the temporary interruptions.
