The 32nd Uganda International Trade Fair (UGITF) at the UMA Showgrounds in Lugogo has officially drawn to a close, but the buzz surrounding Britania Village continues to resonate across the city's business and trade circles.
Serving as the flagship experiential hub for Britania Products Limited (under the House of Dawda Group), the vibrant space established itself as one of the most visited locations at this year's showgrounds.
Beyond attracting continuous crowds with non-stop entertainment, family sampling, and deeply discounted product bundles, Britania capped off the week-long trade expo by bagging a prestigious Partnership Award during the official trade fair awards ceremony.
The highlight of the event for the company came during the awards night when Britania Products Limited was officially honored for its strategic role in fostering strong industrial alliances and supporting national trade initiatives.
The award was received on stage by Britania’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ali Yousef Ebraik, also in attendance was the Head of Sales and Marketing, Mr. Muwagula Robert.
Speaking shortly after receiving the plaque, company officials reiterated Britania’s long-standing dedication to manufacturing quality local goods, deepening supply chain partnerships, and continuously giving back to Ugandan consumers.
Throughout the trade fair, Britania Village maintained high-energy foot traffic by blending product sampling with live entertainment.
A dedicated team of hype MCs, live DJs, and energetic dance troupes kept the crowds entertained with dance-offs, stage games, and music sessions.
At the center of the refreshment village was the popular SunSip Corner, where thirsty trade fair visitors queued up for ice-cold sips of SunSip juice to beat the Lugogo heat. Families and school groups also enjoyed interactive tasting sessions featuring classic Britania biscuits, snacks, and Splash fruit drinks.
Understanding the economic climate and the shoppers' desire for value at Lugogo, Britania structured its trade fair offers around affordability and customer appreciation.
Visitors to the stall were treated to budget-friendly bundles: Multi-product combo packs combining popular confectionery and juice lines at fair, direct-to-consumer rates, complimentary Freebies: Extra goodies, merchandise, and product samples bundled in with purchases to ensure shoppers walked away with maximum value, with the 32nd edition of the Uganda International Trade Fair officially wrapped up, Britania Village left a lasting impression as both a powerhouse in Ugandan manufacturing and a master of consumer engagement.
