Unmanned aerial systems and vehicles maker Beyond Vision has raised over €28 million, co-led by Índico Capital Partners and Lince Capital, with a follow-on investment from ActiveCap, a shareholder since 2024.
Founded in 2013 and led by Dário Pedro (CEO) and Luís Miguel Campos (Chairman), Beyond Vision was founded to develop innovative software solutions driven by advanced technologies.
To meet growing demand, the company began developing AI-powered drones with cloud-based management platforms, gaining recognition for their quality, becoming a registered NATO supplier, and winning numerous awards.
This investment comes at a time of strong acceleration, after the company grew its team to 150 employees, exceeded its 2025 revenue estimate, and expanded its list of military and civilian clients across several countries, consolidating its market position.
According to Dário Pedro, CEO of Beyond Vision, the capital raised in this round will be applied in several areas.
First, Beyond Vision will strengthen its operational infrastructure and scale its industrial production capacity to meet the growing global demand for autonomous systems.
In parallel, the company will accelerate investment in R&D, deepening the integration of advanced AI algorithms and new functionalities in its cloud management platform. Finally, the funds will allow it to consolidate its commercial expansion into new international markets, strengthening its presence in the defense, security, and critical infrastructure monitoring sector.
According to Stephan de Moraes, Managing General Partner of Índico Capital Partners, in critical sectors such as defence, infrastructure management, and security, the reliance on cutting-edge, reliable, and sovereign technology is now a strategic priority for many countries.
“Beyond Vision has redefined this market by combining high-precision hardware with advanced artificial intelligence algorithms at a very competitive cost.
This investment will give Beyond Vision the financial robustness needed to scale production and compete globally in important segments of autonomous unmanned vehicles.”
Tomás Lavin Peixe, Head of Venture Capital at Lince Capital, shared:
“The current geopolitical context and the strengthening of European investment in defence are creating new opportunities for technology companies capable of competing internationally.
We believe that Beyond Vision, due to its technological capacity, experience, and ambition, is well-positioned to seize this moment and contribute to the development of a stronger national ecosystem in high-value-added technologies.”
