Police have opened an investigation into Joongang Holdings Chairman Hong Seok-hyun over allegations that he used a company vehicle for personal purposes.
Seoul's Mapo Police Station is investigating a case in which Hong was accused of breach of trust in the course of his duties, according to police on the 20th.
Police launched the inquiry after receiving a complaint in July alleging that Hong had used a company vehicle for personal use. The complaint was submitted by a driver employed by the company, according to police.
