A building under renovation partially collapsed on Nahalat Binyamin Street in Tel Aviv on Wednesday morning, with Israel Police and Magen David Adom conducting searches for trapped individuals.
No injuries have been reported.
Israel's Fire and Rescue Authority said that asbestos was likely involved in the incident.
Later, the Fire and Rescue Authority also announced that three people had been rescued from the rubble, who were presumed to be construction workers. Searches continued to determine whether anyone else was trapped.
This is a developing story.
