DataVisor Cuts Financial Crime Solution Deployment from Months to Days with Agentic AI

LAS VEGAS — MONEY20/20 USA — DataVisor, the real-time AI decisioning platform for fraud and risk prevention, today launched Vera Code on the Money20/20 USA Breaking News stage. Vera Code is a new agentic AI capability that accelerates financial crime solutions deployment, reducing the time and complexity to build, adapt and manage fraud and AML programs. It marks a step change for the industry: from AI for isolated tasks to AI agents that execute programs end to end, with humans in control.

Fraud is now polymorphic. Attackers use AI agents that adapt, coordinate and scale at machine speed, so legacy static defenses lose effectiveness faster than ever. Yet across the industry, adoption of modern solutions is often slowed by the perceived risks and complexity of implementation, and, once live, programs struggle to stay current with evolving threats, risk signals, and regulatory requirements.

Teams must translate risk policies and operational requirements into sophisticated data, detection, and workflow configurations, and repeat that work with every update. DataVisor pairs its out-of-the-box fraud and AML solutions and 10+ years of expertise with Vera AI agents, tailoring each program and continuously refining it as the threat landscape evolves.

Through a conversational experience, Vera Code takes customer requirements and builds a complete solution or any of its components (including event schemas, aggregated signals, rules, scorecards, alert queues, review workflows, and test data), then tests it before going live. As requirements change or threats evolve, teams use Vera Code to update and adapt the solution, with every change verified and approved.

“Vera AI agents help fraud teams use their data and expertise to develop strategies more quickly and manage fraud programs more efficiently. DataVisor makes AI capabilities more accessible and practical, helping financial institutions like SoFi Tech Solutions adapt to evolving requirements and emerging fraud threats,” said Maxim Spivakovsky, Sr. Director, Global Payments Risk Management, SoFi Tech Solutions.

“Vera AI Agents represent a leap forward in financial-crime technology,” said Jim Mortensen, strategic advisor in the Fraud and AML practice at Datos Insights. “They allow practitioners to create a fundamentally new operating model by turning intelligence into governed action across the entire fraud and AML lifecycle. Teams can build detection, decisioning, investigations, and reporting through natural language, enabling faster response to evolving threats.”

Vera Code builds new end-to-end solutions up to 100 times faster and updates existing ones up to 25 times faster. DataVisor delivered a complete real-time fraud solution for a Fortune 500 insurer in four days, against an industry norm of three to six months. A regional bank replacing its legacy system had budgeted for a months-long implementation while evaluating vendors; with Vera Code, it is saving hundreds of thousands of dollars through more streamlined implementation and management.

“Vera is introducing a new operating model for fraud and risk teams, combining human expertise with AI agents that turn intent into action across the fraud and risk lifecycle,” said Patrick Harr, CEO of DataVisor. “By helping teams test, deploy and improve their programs faster, Vera strengthens both detection and operational efficiency. It represents a step-change in how financial institutions deploy and manage their fraud defenses.”

Vera brings together conversational AI and purpose-built execution agents across the financial crime lifecycle, from detection and optimization to investigation and reporting. It helps institutions improve detection and operational efficiency while maintaining the oversight required in regulated environments. Vera has already saved customers an estimated 1.7 years of work, cut investigation time by up to 60%, reduced regulatory reporting time by up to 90% and lowered false positives by 87%.

Underpinning Vera is DataVisor’s governed platform, which aggregates and enriches relevant signals and data, makes real-time decisions in under 30 milliseconds, and applies adaptive AI, including patented unsupervised machine learning that uncovers emerging and coordinated fraud. This foundation empowers agents to adapt programs using first- and third-party data and investigation findings, while maintaining human oversight.

The pioneer of AI and machine learning for fraud, DataVisor has been recognized by industry analysts and awards programs for its leadership in AI. Vera Code extends that leadership, helping financial institutions move at AI speed, stopping fraud in the blink of an eye.

DataVisor is the leading real-time AI decisioning platform for fraud and financial crime prevention. As AI transforms both fraud attacks and defenses, DataVisor helps financial institutions, payment providers, and digital businesses detect, investigate, and stop sophisticated and previously unseen threats in milliseconds across billions of transactions. Combining real-time decisioning, adaptive AI and high-precision data intelligence, it enables organizations to modernize fraud and risk operations, improve customer experience, and stay ahead of rapidly evolving financial crime.
