Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC, a local electronics giant listed on the stock exchange, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Kenya-based North Light Holdings Limited to expand its global presence.
The partnership aims to strengthen Walton's brand profile and increase its market share in the designated territory, according to a disclosure published on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) today (11 October).
North Light Holdings Limited is a private company registered under Kenyan law, with its corporate headquarters in Nairobi.
"The collaboration aims to build a mutually beneficial business relationship focused on rolling out a comprehensive business roadmap. This will involve continuous product procurement, targeted marketing initiatives, quality customer service, and robust product promotion," it said.
According to the website of North Light Holdings, the Kenyan company, founded in late 2018, holds diversified corporate conglomerate built on a single conviction: that world-class standards and disciplined execution belong in every market including the dynamic, fast-growing regions where opportunity is greatest and reliable partners are scarcest.
