The New York Jets started with an early 3-0 lead over the Patriots in Week 6.
It didn't last for long, as the Patriots scored 17 unanswered first half points en route to a 26-19 victory over Gang Green last Sunday in Foxborough.
The loss dropped the Jets to 2-4 on the season and 1-2 on the road in 2026.
Up next for Gang Green is a divisional matchup against the Miami Dolphins (0-5), who are one of only two winless teams (Los Angeles Chargers) who are coming off of a bye in Week 6.
In 2025, the Dolphins swept the Jets, which included a 34-10 win at MetLife Stadium last December.
Now the two divisional foes meet again in Week 7 in the Garden State.

Who will win this AFC East showdown? Here are our staff predictions for Jets vs. Dolphins at MetLife in Week 7:
Bert Bainbridge
The pick: Jets 27, Dolphins 20
Here's why: Before their Week 6 bye, the Dolphins have shown they're no push over with one-score losses against the Vikings and Bengals. Miami is able to keep it close again, but the Jets are able to hold on for the one-score victory in this divisional showdown at MetLife.
Art Stapleton
The pick: Jets 17, Dolphins 13
Here's why: The Dolphins are playing hard for North Jersey's Jeff Hafley, who is coming home as an NFL head coach for the first time. He's done a good job with an empty cupboard in terms of the roster. Expect the Jets to look to press the issue on defense and see if they can get Garrett Wilson going offensively.
Bob Jordan
The pick: Jets 17, Dolphins 7
Here's why: The Dolphins aren't coming off a loss for the first time this season (they had a bye). Time for the Fish to get back to doing what they do best.
Dave Rivera
The pick: Jets 20, Dolphins 14
Here's why: The Dolphins have been competitive during their last two games, but they're still 0-5. As long as the Jets don't get sloppy or turn the ball over, they'll win this game.
Mike Dougherty
The pick: Jets 21, Dolphins 17
Here's why: Yes, the Dolphins have been fiesty of late, but this is the week the league's seventh-best scoring defense has a profound impact on the outcome ... unless the Dolphins suddenly find a prolific running back.
Brian Marron
The pick: Jets 24, Dolphins 16
Here's why: While severely lacking in personnel, the Dolphins showed so far that they have enough fight to win at least a couple of games at some point this season. Will it be this week? The Jets should be able to hold up enough defensively to escape with a close win.
