Lotte Department Store said on the 14th that it is launching Avenuel Global Trip, a premium travel program available exclusively to members of Avenuel, its VIP tier.
The retailer has rolled out a luxury cruise program aboard Ritz-Carlton vessels. Flagship offerings include a 10-day, eight-night Alaska Wilderness cruise departing from and returning to Vancouver, Canada, and an 11-day, 10-night Japanese Culinary Experience in Cherry Blossom Season voyage that departs from Tokyo and calls at Shimizu, Osaka and Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. The company is also offering a culture and arts package that visits small towns in Spain and southern France and tours the architectural works of Antoni Gaudi.
Customers who book an Avenuel Global Trip receive a butler service providing round-trip transportation between their home and the airport. They also receive dedicated gifts and travel credits worth up to $1,000 for use during the trip.
Reservations for 2027 packages are being taken through the Avenuel Only tab in the Lotte Department Store app. Members from the Avenuel Orange tier through the Black tier are eligible to apply. Up to 100% of travel package purchases count toward Avenuel tier qualification, capped at 100 million won annually.
"This is a form of travel curation in which we select and propose the most valuable experiences for our Avenuel customers," an official at Lotte Department Store said. "We will continue to create differentiated customer experiences across various areas of life, including travel, culture and dining, going beyond shopping."
