On Tuesday evening, Viking Stavanger made a big splash, earning a point after a 3-3 home draw against German giants Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
The next day brought another Norwegian success.
Bodø/Glimt beat German side Borussia Dortmund 1-0 at home. Sweden international Daniel Svensson was in Dortmund’s starting line-up.
The hero for the home side was right-back Fredrik Sjøvold, who scored the only goal of the match in the 52nd minute.
