OXFORD — Ole Miss football players are wearing camouflage helmets for the Rebels' Week 7 game.
No. 10 Ole Miss (4-1, 2-1 SEC) will host No. 13 Missouri (5-1, 2-1) on Oct. 17 (2:30 p.m. CT, SEC Network).
The unusual look for Ole Miss' helmets is the result of a partnership with Realtree, which is a company that makes hunting apparel, fishing apparel and outdoor lifestyle apparel.
It's not the first time Ole Miss has worn camo helmets in a game. The helmets were first worn in 2023. They came about through a partnership between Ole Miss and Bill and Tyler Jordan, who run Realtree and are Ole Miss boosters.
The helmets have come in a couple of different colors, including navy blue, powder blue and gray. Ole Miss is wearing gray for the Missouri game.
Ole Miss had tremendous success in the Realtree helmets in 2025. Ole Miss wore the helmets three times last season, and got wins against South Carolina and Mississippi State as well as in the Sugar Bowl against Georgia.
