XRP holders are looking ahead to two important dates in October as Ripple prepares for its annual Swell conference and the XRP Ledger approaches another round of protocol fixes.
The developments could put the XRP ecosystem in focus this month, with one event centered on institutional adoption and industry discussions, while the other concerns the network's technical infrastructure.
From October 27 to 29, 2026, leaders from finance, crypto, and the XRP community will come together for talks, panels, and discussions at the Swell event in New York. For the first time, Ripple combines Swell with Apex, the summit for developers, institutions, and investors building on the XRP Ledger, and UBRI Connect, the academic conference for Ripple's University Blockchain Research Initiative, which brings together researchers and students from its global university network.
