A teenage boy has been charged after a Perth home was sprayed with bullets in a drive-by shooting.
In the early hours of Saturday, a gunman opened fire on a house in Bert Street, Gosnells, one of Perth’s eastern suburbs.

Dramatic CCTV footage captured the sound of 27 shots being fired, with bullets striking walls and windows of the property.
A 13-year-old boy has since been charged over his alleged role in the shooting.

The boy, who has appeared in Perth Children’s Court, was charged with eight separate offences linked to the incident, including unlawful use of a firearm, endagering life, possession of stolen property and driving without authority.

Following the alleged shooting, police revealed seven people were inside the property at the time.
The teenage suspect was arrested the following day, in a Belmont car park 18 kilometres away.
“One adult male sustained minor injuries and was conveyed to hospital where he received medical treatment,” Senior Sergeant Heath Atkinson of WA Police said.
“This is a shocking and deeply concerning incident, that a 13-year-old child was alleged to have access to a firearm.
“The consequences could have been far worse.”
The boy will reappear at court at a later date.
