The man who has now been released and another man in his 40s were arrested on Saturday on suspicion of killing a man in his 50s in an apartment in Skellefteå on Friday evening.
After their arrest, the men were questioned, after which the younger man was released.
“The suspicions still remain,” says Marie Andersson, a police press spokesperson, to Västerbottens-Kuriren.
The second man remains in custody on suspicion of murder.
