By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A San Ignacio family is asking the public for help to recover a bag left behind at the Belize Western Border.
According to the family, a woman forgot her black Michael Kors tote bag on a bench outside the money exchange booth near the taxi stand on the night of Monday, October 12, while waiting for her ride.
The bag contained US cash, her passport with an American visa, a credit card and other personal belongings.
The family says video footage appears to show a woman in red shorts and a black blouse picking up the bag and getting into a red car.
They are asking anyone who can help identify the person or vehicle to come forward. A reward is being offered.
