Merchandise honoring esports player Lee Sang-hyeok, known as Faker, is going on sale following the release of commemorative stamps featuring him.
Korea Post, part of the Ministry of Science and ICT, said on the 22nd that it is launching the merchandise in step with the issue of the Faker commemorative stamps. Three items are on offer: commemorative stamp cards, personalized stamps and personalized stamp cards.
The commemorative stamp cards combine stamps with photo cards and come in two versions, metal and standard. The metal version uses two types of 1,000-won commemorative stamps and is being sold as a special edition limited to 507 copies. The standard version features eight of the 10 commemorative stamps in photo card form, with a stamp on the front and a photograph of Faker along with his signature on the back.
The personalized stamps were produced so that fans can keep a record of Faker's achievements and challenges in stamp form. The personalized stamp cards pair stamps made from photographs of Faker with game skins matching the year each photograph was taken.
The items go on sale on the 23rd at the Seoul Central Post Office on weekdays and at the Postal Museum on weekends. They will also be sold for 10 days starting on the 23rd at a League of Legends pop-up store at Lotte World Mall in Jamsil, Seoul.
